Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities  

• Analyze and understand the root causes of the financial results of assigned areas, provide concrete solutions for improvement, and adequately communicate those improvement areas to management in order to drive action


• Lead the book close for their respective areas on a monthly basis


• Coordinate and lead preparation of OPEX financial forecasts and budgets including identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities and probable outcomes and negotiating agreements on the specifics of the budget with an eye towards company outcomes


• Conduct/lead monthly operations and financial reviews of assigned areas


• Provide leadership on financial and modeling support as needed for client proposals and pricing as needed


• Understanding of relevant industry trends and their impact to company and communicate those to their team


• Determine, maintain and understand the key business drivers of the assigned area (headcount, productivity, occupancy, hours, ratios, etc.) 


• Work with their team to analyzing the business trends on a go-forward basis and identifying probably outcomes (i.e. how do current business conditions translate into revised outlooks, risks and opportunities analysis)


• Lead special projects as needed (M&A analysis, lease vs. buy, discounted cash flow) 

Candidate Profile  

• Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with ten years of relevant experience (with two to four years of Progressive Management Experience) preferred

• Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates


• Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impact


• Demonstrated ability to lead strategy behind mentoring and coaching for team(s) and to act as leadership adviser to lower-level management


• Demonstrated ability to champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity


• Extensive understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. Knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices


• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team on developing lasting customer relationships
