Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

  • Serves as the mobile App product owner, leader, and motivator on cross-functional teams during the lifecycle of product development
  • Owns and execute on mobile App product strategy
  • Builds and effectively communicates the product strategy
  • Defines product development scope in form of epic/stories and drive it development to fulfill theme it belongs.
  • Navigates and negotiates within organization, including input from stakeholders across the company as well as technical/architectural/ engineering dependencies.
  • Ensures strong measurement and quantitative understanding of customer experience (instrumentation) - opportunities, benefits achieved, customer pain points
  • Serves as product thought leader, go to person, and motivator on cross-functional teams during the lifecycle of product development of the area(s) of ownership.
  • Tests and learn into compelling customer experiences
  • Champions the needs of the customer and business stakeholders throughout the execution of a project, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with local and distributed business partners
  •  Delivers software incrementally, on schedule and within budget.
  • Actively plans and prioritizes the product feature backlog according to business value and clearly articulates priorities for the product team.
  • Works with the engineering Leader balances the need to address technical debt and supports technical innovation in addition to adding product features
  • Create and maintain communications regarding vision and progress with a product roadmap and release plan
  • Lead  the UI/UX and requirements of the team features
  • Provides data and analytics reporting to business leadership
  • Evaluates new technologies, analyzes competitors and market trends

Candidate Profile

  • Experience using Atlassian Jira Agile ( and or AHA
  • Experience developing a product roadmap
  • Experience creating user experience (UX/UI) artifacts such as journey maps and wireframes
  •  Experience modeling business or software processes using BPMN constructs
  • Experience creating release notes, user documentation, and/or training materials
  •  Experience writing a requirements specification or statement of work
  • Working knowledge of design, repository, story and backlog management tools and resources (Sketch, Abstract, Overflow, Zeplin, Invision, Jira, etc.)
  • General awareness of technology mediums (Javascript, HTML5/CSS3, iOS and Android SDK
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four (4) year college or universityor equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Scrum Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment for a product successfully delivered to market (Mobile Product Experience is a must)
  • Proven experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in a cross-functional team, dedicated to the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched mobile app used globally (multilingual and localized)
  • Hands-on experience building mobile App solutions on both IOS and Android platforms
  • Demonstrated technical acumen with an ability to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs; able to communicate technical concepts to business users
  • Strong communications  Ability to communicate both verbally and in written presentation format to business leaders at all levels and influence key stakeholders across the organization Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees
  • Proven track-record: past projects were consistently successful (i.e., met the customer needs, achieved business objectives, delivered on-time with no/few surprises)
  • Demonstrated leadership of direct and/or indirect teams
