Product Manager

The Product Manager works closely with the business and technical teams to evolve and grow the ConcentrixCX platform.

The Product Manager reports to Director, Product Management to investigate, recommend and define new features and functionality for the ConcentrixCX platform.   This role is a major contributor to the requirements specification deliverables.  The Product Manager writes the business and functional requirements and ensures the analytical, build, test and deployment tasks are successfully completed. This role also performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the project management team to prioritizes deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities. The Product Manager has a working knowledge of software development processes and is very analytical with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues. This role also serves as a champion for the ConcentrixCX product, communicating the product vision, strategy and roadmap to both internal and external stakeholders.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Investigate feasibility of new product features, including competitive landscape and differentiation opportunities.
  • Develop project/action plan, establishes target data for project, and assigns tasks to team members
  • Draft detailed internal scope documents, business requirements and systems specifications
  • Serve as internal liaison between the Product Teams and the Development Teams
  • Document and communicate testing criteria and results for compliance with specifications
  • Provide support for testing/implementation verification activities
  • Develop training materials and conducts customer training on new/revised procedures, processes, and/or systems
  • Assist with client-facing product demonstrations, as needed
  • Communicate product vision, strategy and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with four to six years of relevant experience preferred
  • Progressive responsibility and experience in analyzing, developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on plans and programs for one or more products or business processes that cross multiple functions
  • Thorough knowledge of technical business environment for one or more products or processes
  • Expertise in project management concepts and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism
  • Four to six years’ experience in Customer Experience (CX) with an emphasis on Voice of the Customer (VOC) data collection and reporting a plus.
