Position Summary

The Senior Director, Product Strategy is responsible for developing the overall strategy and roadmap to implement a successful Product Management and Marketing GTM strategy, leveraging applicable sales channels across the enterprise. This strategy includes the integration of existing Concentrix products and services into a comprehensive client focused product value proposition which is modular in design to fit specific client requirements by industry. This strategy also includes the mid and long-term growth plan, incorporating the elements of product positioning based on industry trends and competitive analysis, GTM channels, customer marketing, and appropriate governance and metrics to measure results. This person will be the primary thought leader and product evangelist for these products across the enterprise and work with the applicable Concentrix teams to develop product roadmaps and stay ahead of our competition to meet our client’s innovation agenda.

Reports To: Executive Vice President, Marketing and Emerging Business

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the integrated product roadmap and marketing approach across IT services and Concentrix. Develop and implement a consistent communication and marketing plan to rollout this integrated product strategy and roadmap across IT services and Concentrix.
  • Use market leading research to identify industry trends and conduct competitive analysis in the development of the product strategy to identify target customers(s) and a GTM sales approach.
  • Determine product innovation opportunities throughout the customer journey / moments of truth to identify and fill product gaps. Develop applicable products to meet our customers innovative needs, improve customer experience and grow market share. 
  • Develop a compelling marketing approach, positioning & messaging which differentiates us from our competition in the market, resonates with our target audience, and is customized by industry and geography.
  • Lead ITS and MS efforts -- be the expert on our target market and customers, identifying insights that improve customer satisfaction and uncover innovative product and business opportunities.
  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Stay ahead of the business and technology curve to understand what our customers need to address their specific business levers (increase efficiencies, increase customer satisfaction, increase turnaround times, and others).
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they position themselves in the marketplace.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing programs which support ITS and MS products and provide recommended changes to the business, cost, return and timing on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide competitive go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.  Implement appropriate metrics to measure the campaign effectiveness.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products based on market research and release timing of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Work with leadership and finance to set quarterly goals that meet business objectives and regularly report on progress against those goals.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and product/packaging changes.
  • Drive product launches, new releases, develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Analyse potential partner relationships for the product as appropriate.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with 15+ Years of Experience (with at least 6+ years of Progressive Mgmt. Experience) preferred.
  • Master’s Degree in a related field, Computer Science and Business preferred.
  • 10+ years of Management consulting experience with extensive experience and understanding of product strategy and GTM sales approach.
  • Solid technology background and extensive knowledge of Digital transformation products and services and the future of work.
  • Advanced ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret.
  • Extensive understanding of the organization's business operations and industries.  Knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team on developing lasting customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategy behind mentoring and coaching for team(s) and to act as leadership advisor to lower-level management.
  • Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impact.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal.  Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates.
  • Strong Influence management skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a gift for writing and ability to create compelling content that speaks to customer pain points. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
