RMT (Business) System Administrator

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the resource management tool champion to drive uptake across the global IT organization
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Oversee change management including training and communication(s) plans
  • Continually assess data quality, drive data clean up as needed
  • Analyze data, identify trends, make recommendations to senior leaders
  • Establish KPIs, create dashboards, refine existing reports and define new reports where needed
  • Implement steering committee and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Define and execute ongoing communications plan
  • Roll the application across all IT functions globally by working closely with vertical leaders to gather their requirements and identify their data/reporting needs
  • Manage the long term vision/strategy for the tool, including plans to connect the application with complimentary systems to ensure a complete, decisionable dataset 
  • Partner with the Agile development team to execute long-term vision
  • Plan the roadmap, new functions and features
  • Review data contained in internal resource management tool
  • Form Strategic Action Plan from data
  • Advocate and Engage internal stakeholders
  • Identify missing data and contact internal stakeholder to enter it
  • Moderate meetings and internal committees
  • Conduct presentations to executive leadership
  • Assist others with using the internal resource tool

Candidate Profile:

  • Have 3-5 years’ experience in an IT environment
  • Familiar with SDLC, IT project implementation and capacity/demand planning.
  • Prior experience as a system owner, champion or product manager.
  • Prior experience as a data analytics whiz, able to quickly identify trends in datasets, draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization
  • Track record as a skilled influencer who is known to find the win-win in any situation, particularly when it comes to sorting competing system requirements
  • Skilled at building relationships across the organization
  • Creative, out of the box thinker; a visionary
  • Knows how to get a message across through pictures and data; an Excel and PowerPoint expert
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
