Director, Web & Digital Marketing

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, scope, justify, optimize and deliver web and digital marketing strategies in alignment with business objectives
  • Drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs, Opportunities, Social Media Engagement, Intranet Engagement, Web Bounce Rate, Web Page Load Time, Click-Thru, and Budget Management
  • Lead program and project management teams to deliver outcomes and demonstrate ROI in an incubator/proof-of-concept environment
  • Own web experience in current and future state: devise website roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders, lead transformation and continuous improvement of architecture, linking, UI/UX, and SEO positions, ensuring close integration with brand leadership initiatives
  • Manage and improve online content across all channels, considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Partner with leadership teams on various internal strategic marketing initiatives such as employee experience, internal communications, etc.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of marketing spend through effective program justification and prioritization with business context at top-of-mind
  • Synthesize brand story, business strategy and KPIs to create data-supported insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Act as a mentor, coach, thought leader and functional expert to direct reports and senior management

Experience /Competencies/Qualifications

  • 10 + years of progressive leadership experience in marketing with recent emphasis in digital marketing and web experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics, CRM software, demand generation marketing and marketing automation
  • Experience building and optimizing the Marketing tech stack
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and proven track record of success in working with cross-functional teams
  • Leadership driven, verses task driven; focus at the strategic level and building relationships.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and high degree of comfort explaining complex ideas to all audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in greenfield marketing program development, continuous improvement, and transformation
  • Proven ability to inspire, coach and develop effective relationships with all members of a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment in which the handling of multiple tasks simultaneously is the expected norm
  • Comfortable working in a culture of constant change and demonstrated track record of success in creative problem solving
  • Proficient in the use of marketing automation (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite is strongly preferred
