Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business sales within assigned markets
  • Proven record of accomplishment meeting or exceeding sales quotas for Enterprise Feedback Management Software solutions.
  • Champion the effort to grow and maintain the Analytics Voice of the Customer long-term revenue base
  • Uncovers new opportunities with a focused approach to build relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise, and gains a thorough understanding of business requirements and buyer motivations
  • Develop a thorough understanding of prospect short-term and long-term strategic requirements through discussions with prospective client leadership.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to establish optimal sales strategy for identified pursuits, based on client interactions and a thorough understanding of competitive solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales Support, Operations and other departments to scope and price VOC solutions that meet client’s business requirements and align to established sales strategy for the account
  • Provide client and market intelligence back to Sales Account Management, and Operations regarding Convergys Analytics strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats based on sales pursuit interactions.
  • Monitor economic and legal trends that could impact prospect business requirements and affect sales or solution strategy
  • Maintain and update database with client prospect details and sales pursuit information

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university with more than seven years of relevant experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with fifteen or more years related experience preferred.
  • Executive presence and the substance to successfully operate at CEO and Board level
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
  • Background in selling Enterprise Feedback Management software with a solid understanding of Voice of Customer solutions and market research
  • External Thought Leader with proven ability to significantly influence clients and prospects
  • Strong leadership skills and record of working through internal and external collaboration
  • Drive to protect and increase the company’s set levels of expected profitability
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
