Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities 

•    Review/research/resolve member issues received via service form, e‐mail or phone call; document and 
•    provide timely response to the member or appropriate department (i.e. Customer Relations, Group 
•    Retiree Sales, Appeals & Grievances)  
•    Process the members PCP & IPA changes from Customer Relationship via email or action gram 
•    Update the members address/county changes 
•    Process the termination of deceased members 
•    Process requests from Clinical Services to update member records screen in Diamond 
•    Process action grams from Customer Relations to update members demographic changes 
•    Act as decision maker for routine or non‐critical issues; provide input for issue resolution   

Candidate Profile 

•    Must be at least 18 years of age or older
•    Must possess minimum High School Diploma or equivalent 
•    Medicare Enrollment experience is an asset
•    Minimum of 1 year professional back office experience Preferred
•    Medical device or healthcare industry experience Preferred
•    Technical Support industry experience Preferred
•    Medical terminology preferred
•    Interpersonal team player  with strong computer and telephone skills
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Career Framework Role 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.  Minimum of 6 months experience in a service environment required.  Insurance plan enrollment experience preferred, especially if related to Medicare health plans. Proficiency with MS Windows,  keyboarding skills,  strong verbal, written communication skills, strong organizational skills as well as the ability to research and respond to a high volume of telephone inquiries in a consistent and professional manner.  Basic math, grammar, and spelling are required.  Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.  Ability to work under pressure and with attention to changing priorities. Must be able to work cooperatively as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to provide outstanding service in order to promote a positive company image.  Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal departments and external business partners in verbal and in written formats.  Acts as a professional at all times, adhering to the company Code of Conduct. Must have strong computer and multitasking skills.
