As a part of our Back-Office team, you will represent one of our leading healthcare clients, processing medical claims and enrolling participants in benefits in a back-office setting.  We are looking for individuals that are ready to learn, can stay on task, hit production targets and do so, with impeccable accuracy and quality.  No specific experience is necessary but the aptitude to learn and apply the knowledge you will be taught, will be assessed as part of the vetting process.


What you will do:

  • Work a set inventory to ensure, all claims are processed within prescribed timeframes
  • Maintain, acceptable production levels as set by management
  • Responsible for enrollments and plan changes; including unenrolling, cancellations, denials, etc., received via email, telephone, or electronic transmission
  • Review submission for accuracy and identifying any areas of opportunity or trends requiring action specific to Quality Control
  • Maintain Quality Control reports and documentation, providing “world class” service to build a business partnership
  • Influence member retention, and satisfy corporate customer service goals and objectives
  • Review/research/resolve member issues received via service form, e‐mail or phone call
  • Act as decision maker for routine or non‐critical issues; provide input for issue resolution  
    • Be efficient in navigating multiple systems
    • Participate in ongoing training and self-development
    • Maintain advanced knowledge of procedures, product information and online resource tools
    • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality as scheduled and adhere to all company time and attendance policies
    • Participate in activities designed to improve business performance
    • Ensure that all quality targets, are maintained, on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal/misdemeanor background check
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must enjoy working in a back-office environment
  • Will to achieve results and the perseverance to push harder when the going gets tough
  • Enjoy working in an ambitious collaborative environment-inspire your to team to be better while achieving your goals
  • Be self-aware, reflective, and able to digest feedback critically and adapt to overcome challenges
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, using a CRM & web-based tools.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic math, grammar, and spelling are required
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal departments and external business partners in verbal and in written formats
  • Strong telephone multitasking skills required (Effectively search for key information on the computer while maintaining the pace of a customer call)
  • Medical terminology preferred

Additional WAH Information:      This is a full-time position that will be Work-At-Home on a temporary basis in response to COVID-19. You will report to the site on day 1 to pick up your equipment and sign the required releases.  You will be given two hours to return home and get everything set up and logged in.  Once we return to business as usual, you will be required to report to work onsite.
