Sr. Assistant, Regulatory Compliance

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Candidate will be responsible to submit forms to different states in seeking producer licenses for advisors
  • Oversee and report on the timely licensing and appointment of agents
  • Will also be responsible to keep up with license renewals, continuous education and maintain communication with advisors and state officials as needed
  • Conduct appropriate follow-up to respond to agent questions and meet individual state resident and non-resident requirements and established timelines
  • Maintain accurate agent/representative attribute files
  • Establish good working relationships with internal stakeholders

Candidate Profile: 

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (in particular - Excel), and other common productivity tools.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen, negotiate, and influence outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, high-caliber team member with demonstrated accountability and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Analytical skill set to analyze issues, determine root cause, follow process, and drive solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred background in Agent licensing and state Department of Insurance interaction.
  • Ability to compassionately handle sensitive background issues within licensing and privacy guidelines
  • Comfortable working in a matrix leadership environment.
