Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

  • Knowledge/experience with qualitative and quantitative marketing research program management

  • Knowledge/experience with both continuous tracking and ad hoc marketing research programs

  • Knowledge/experience with transactional and relationship survey programs

  • Ability to consult on survey design and scaling

  • Experience with statistical testing and data weighting

  • Ability to consult on/design/facilitate sampling business rules and processes

  • Proactively manages project status, creatively solving complex problems and conflicts to ensure project success

  • Provides ongoing consultation to clients and internal team members

  • Leads cross-functional project teams

  • Drives process improvement and innovation and contributes to best practice development

  • Functions as trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Independently manages complex research programs

  • Makes valuable contributions in analytic planning meetings

  • Effectively manages projects through all phases, including initial launch

  • Owns department initiatives and sees through to completion

  • Reacts to challenging situations with resourcefulness, creativity and client focus

  • Brings organization and consistency to unstructured project environments

  • Partners closely with Account Management to develop and deliver account strategy and to retain and grow client relationships

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with 10+ years of related experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism
  • Solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. 
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing research practices and principles
  • Experience with client-facing data reporting platforms preferred
